It was a wonderfully sunny autumn day when the team of the Foundation for Democratic Youth visited Apátfalva to meet the kids who can’t wait to join the DancingOnTheSquare community-building programme. The deputy mayor, the head teacher, the manager of the cultural centre, nursery teachers and dance tutors along with youth representatives were all present. We mapped out the situation, trying to identify a point of departure for a development process that focuses especially on vulnerable children and builds on cooperation. Everyone in attendance would like to contribute towards change. In the near future we will be visiting many more places throughout the country.
