It was a great pleasure for us to celebrate children’s talents and the community-building power of music and dance in the name of tolerance with thousands of spectators at the DancingOnTheSquare event. As Iván Fischer put it: “Tolerance begins where we can learn to love each other’s values, where we can find beauty in what belongs to someone else.” The Festival Orchestra is continuing its DancingOnTheSquare programme: in August we are organising a camp for a group of the participating children in Hollókő, with the professional help of the Foundation for Democratic Youth.
